Sonland classes for all ages are offered Sunday mornings at 9:45
The next event is roller skating at Rollerama II on Monday, March 15th from 6:30-9:00 p.m. It's Christian Music Night, so we'll be skating while praising God! The cost is $5.50 and includes skate rentals. Upgrade to rollerblades is an additional $2.00. Extra costs would be for snacks if you work up an appetite. 56º is a temperature that can't really be classified as cold. Nor is it hot. It's a good "in-between" temperature. Why the weather talk? Well, at Shepherd of the Lakes we recognize the fifith graders aren't quite young children anymore. Nor are the sixth graders young adults yet. So we've gone ahead and combined this wonderful age group of kids into a program called 56 degrees.
In this post-Sunday school/pre Youth group program we seek to meet God's children where they're at in this important stage of faith formation. Monthly activities include devotions, some service activities, some stuff "just for fun," and lots of laughter and friendship.
