One of the most important things we do each week as the people of God is to come together and worship our Lord. All those with musical, artistic and technical gifts are welcomed to join us as we lift up Jesus Christ, declare His Word and help lead God's people in worship.
Adult Choir is open to teens and adults who like to sing. Anthems are presented in Classic Faith and special worship services regularly. Prior experience is helpful but not necessary. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings.
Festival Choir is a large vocal group that presents a cantata with orchestra 2 or 3 times per year. Singers can make a short Term (6 week) Commitment and sign up on a time-by-time basis.
Vocal Soloists are needed to provide special music at worship services, particularly on Monday nights and in the summer time.
Contemporary Instrumentalists Guitarists, Drummers, bass players and Keyboardists are needed to assist at our Faith Alive worship services.
Bells of Praise is our Adult Handbell Choir. It rings during the academic year, particularly in the Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter seasons. Bells of Praise is open to interested youth and adults. Participants learn ringing technique, basic rhythm and note-reading skills in a warm, caring environment.
Shepherd of the Lakes Brass Ensemble provides festive music for worship services several times per year. Participants should have upper-level high school or better instrumental technique.
Youth Band (Brass & Woodwinds) provides special music for worship services several times a year. The band is open to middle school and high school students. Participants should be able to play several scales proficiently.
Instrumental Musicians of various skill levels are invited to audition with the Director of Music. Recent worship services have been enhanced by music from trumpets, flutes, clarinets, violins and other instruments.
Actors and Dramatic Readers are needed to enhance our worship services from time to time.
Worship Technology Team members make sure that Gods Word is heard and seen clearly in our worship services by operating our audio mixing console, video projector and computer system. No experience is required, just the desire to serve God and others. Training is provided. This group is diverse adults, mature teens, and family members end up serving together.
